The Centennial Committee compiled scrapbooks about the school’s history. Students, parents, teachers, alumni and Cedar Lee Merchants created a video about Fairfax’s history. Students designed and created post cards featuring landmarks in Cleveland Heights. The video and post cards are used to tell the community about Fairfax school.

Grandperson’s Day

Seventh graders wrote essays about a senior citizen who is important to them. Selected students and their &Grandperson& seniors from the Cleveland Heights Office on Aging and about 30 nursing home residents attended a dinner theater presentation of Roxboro\\\\\\\’s Theater Club\\\\\\\’s production of Little Shop of Horrors. The Service Learning Group, the Life Skills class and Student Council served the meal. IMD students provided live music.

Community Shares Quilt

Four Heights High art classes made quilts for four Community Shares organizations. The quilts were used by the organizations to raise public awareness about their work. Representatives from the organizations explained their role and mission to students and the young artists will created fabric images that tell about the work of the non-profits.
