Reaching Heights Welcomes Lisa M. Hunt to Staff
May 13, 2010 by Reaching Heights
Reaching Heights is proud to welcome Lisa M. Hunt to our staff as a Program Associate. Lisa is proud alumna of Cleveland Heights High School (Class of 1988), and a parent of two sons attending CH-UH schools.
She and her husband Al have lived in Cleveland Heights, where Lisa grew up, since 2001, after living in Washington, D.C., for several years.
Of raising their sons Brycen and Jordan in Cleveland Heights, Lisa says, “I have always bragged about my experience at Heights High, because it was so vibrant and diverse.” We moved back to this city because I knew what it had to offer and I wanted that and more for my children.”
Lisa recently graduated from Cleveland State University’s Maxine Goodman Levin College with a BS in Urban Studies, concentrating in nonprofit administration and leadership, with a minor in dance. She is pursuing her master’s degree in nonprofit administration, while performing and promoting CSU’s Modern Dance Company. She has had valuable administrative and community engagement experience, including working for CSU’s Center for Health Equity, Broadway School of Music and the Arts and other community arts organizations.
Lisa has been a proud Fairfax Elementary School PTA volunteer, and recently been selected as the NODCC’S State of Ohio Family Partnership Leader, a national organization built around advocacy and support for families of individuals with DCC (disorders of the Corpus Callosum), an abnormality seen in her younger son. She also serves on the Cleveland Foundation’s Scholarship Selection Committee.
