Reaching Musical Heights-Encore! showcased the talented musicians of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights school district in the glorious setting of Severance Hall. Their music inspired and united the audience, and communicated the value of music education in our public schools.
Reaching Heights produced the benefit concert in partnership with the school district and all of the vocal and instrumental teachers. Performances by eight ensembles made up of more than 550 Cleveland Heights-University Heights students filled Severance Hall with music worthy of this world class venue. The young elementary, middle and high school musicians demonstrated that the Heights tradition of musical excellence is alive and well. Many in attendance remarked that they had no idea how good student performers could be!
