It’s time to think about the 2004-05 school year!

Reaching Heights invites teachers, staff and parents in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District to apply for School Team Grants for the 2004-05 school year.

Deadlines for School Team Grants for the 2004-05 school year are: June 30, 2004 and October 15, 2004

School Team Grants provide up to $1,500 for innovative projects to improve student achievement. A project team of at least five members may apply. The project team must include the principal and at least four other teachers, staff members or parents connected to the school where the grant will be implemented. The project team must submit :

  • a brief written proposal that describes the needs the project will address, and the project’s goals, activities, timeline and budget.

Grant funds may be used for one-time costs, pilot projects or to replicate successful projects previously funded with Reaching Heights funds.

Grant recipients submit a written account of expenditures and give an oral report on their accomplishments at an end of the year grantees meeting.

The School Team Grant program is one of four Reaching Heights grant initiatives available exclusively to teachers, staff and parents in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District. A description of all grant programs, previously funded projects, and application materials can be found on the Reaching Heights web site, www.reachingheights.org/grant.
