Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! Did you know that anyone interested in supporting our public schools can join PTA. Community members, parents, grandparents, and school staff are welcome and needed as paid members of our schools' PTAs. Membership is $5 to $7. Not much but it means a lot!
PTA is a national organization that offers leadership training and grants but only to PTA units in good standing - with officers, paid members, regular business meetings and events, and good financial records.
Volunteer if you have the time and energy but definitely join your local school's PTA to support the efforts of its members and allow them access to the leadership training and grants offered by PTA's state and national offices.
