Time to Play

Krista Hawthorne

At the Heights Coventry Library Branch kids and adults can check out more than books. The library now offers soccer balls, frisbees, whiffle balls, bats, kick balls, footballs, bases and cones. The sports equipment is available for a three-hour use in the Coventry Peace Park. So now residents, young and old, can check-out the fun and run, jump and play in the park, then cool down with a great book.

The Coventry branch is as diverse as the neighborhood it represents. Stop in for a baby, toddler, or children’s story time. If that doesn’t interest you, then check out the Coventry Concert Night or a program in our Local Author series. Or maybe stop in for the Step Out of Time Series, a monthly program dedicated to alternative health and spiritual practices including meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi, and other disciplines.
